Privacy Notice (KVKK)

This notice applies to all visitors and members using the DigiReferans platform.

As DigiReferans, we attach great importance to the privacy and security of your personal data in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). This Privacy Notice has been prepared to inform you about how your personal data is processed, for what purposes, with whom it may be shared, and what rights you have as a data subject.

Your personal data is processed for the purposes of managing membership processes, creating profiles, conducting verification procedures, carrying out communication activities, providing digital services, ensuring platform security, and fulfilling legal obligations.

3. Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected through digital forms, membership and profile creation processes, user declarations, communication channels, and cookies. Your data is processed based on the legal grounds specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, including explicit consent, establishment or performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and the legitimate interests of the data controller.

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data is not shared with third parties except where legally required. However, in order to provide the service technically, your data may be shared on a limited basis with service providers such as hosting, email, notification, and infrastructure partners, provided that appropriate contractual safeguards are implemented in accordance with the KVKK.

5. Retention Period of Personal Data

Your personal data is retained for the period required by applicable legislation or as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. Upon expiration of these periods, your data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with the KVKK.

6. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:

To request information if your data has been processed,
To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
To know the third parties to whom your data is transferred domestically,
To request correction if your data is incomplete or inaccurate,
To request deletion or destruction of your data in accordance with the KVKK,
To claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

This Privacy Notice may be updated from time to time. Updated versions enter into force as of the date they are published on the platform.
